Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check your search term for typos. If you are using a Business ID, ensure it is in the correct format (e.g., 0112038-9). A Business ID will override any name search, so clear it if you want to search by name. Also, try setting the trade register status to 'All statuses' to include inactive records.
The scraper is returning fewer results than my maxItems setting.
This is normal. The Actor stops when it has collected your requested number of records or when the YTJ search has no more matching companies to return, whichever comes first.
I entered a company name but got a different company.
The YTJ search supports partial matching. A short or common name may return many results. Try using a more specific name or, if you know it, the exact Business ID for a precise lookup.
The run is taking a long time.
Large, unfiltered searches can take time to paginate through the full registry. Reduce your maxItems limit or add a name or company form filter to narrow the search scope and speed up the run.
I got an error about an invalid Business ID.
Finnish Business IDs must follow the format 1234567-8. Check that you have included the hyphen and the correct number of digits. The ID field expects this exact format.
