Overview

ParseForge

Catch.com.au Product Scraper

Scrape Catch.com.au product listings from any search query or category, up to a million items per run. Every product comes with its price, rating, availability, and full listing details. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

Catch.com.au has no public API for product data, and building a scraper means handling dynamic pages, pagination, and anti-bot measures. This Actor reads the public product feeds directly, filtered by price, category, or sort order, and returns each match in one fixed schema.

Who uses it What they scrape Catch.com.au for
E-commerce analysts Track competitor pricing and assortment on Catch.com.au
Dropshippers Find trending products and monitor stock levels
Market researchers Analyze product categories and customer ratings
Price monitoring tools Feed daily price snapshots into internal dashboards

What it does

This Actor collects Catch.com.au product listings by search query or category slug, and returns each one as a flat row with price, rating, and availability.

  • ๐Ÿ” Search and category modes: run by keyword query or by category slug from the Catch URL path.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Price filters: set min and max price in AUD to narrow results before they are written.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Sort options: relevance, price low to high, price high to low, newest, or top rated.
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Flat output: every product is one row, ready for CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML export.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

What you can do with Catch.com.au data

๐Ÿ“ˆ Monitor competitor prices.

An e-commerce analyst runs the Actor daily on a list of search queries and compares Catch.com.au prices against other retailers to adjust their own pricing.

๐Ÿ›’ Find trending products for dropshipping.

A dropshipper scrapes a category like 'electronics' sorted by newest to spot products that are gaining traction and check supplier availability.

๐Ÿ“Š Analyze ratings and reviews.

A market researcher pulls top-rated products in a niche and aggregates rating distributions to understand what customers value most.

๐Ÿ”” Track stock availability.

A price monitoring tool scrapes the same query every hour and flags products that go out of stock or change price.

Configure the run

Drive the Actor from a search query or a category slug, and filters run as each product is read so only matches reach your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.

  "maxItems": 10
}

A larger pull:

{
  "query": "headphones",

Troubleshooting

Why am I getting no results?

Check that your query or category slug is spelled correctly and that your price filters are not too narrow. Try removing minPrice and maxPrice to see if results appear.

Why did the run stop at 10 items?

Free users are limited to 10 items as a preview. Upgrade to a paid plan and set maxItems higher to scrape more.

Why are some products missing fields?

Catch.com.au may not show every field for every product. Missing values are returned as empty strings or nulls in the dataset.

Why is the run slow?

Large maxItems values take longer because the Actor must paginate through many pages. Reduce maxItems or narrow your filters to speed it up.

Can I scrape by direct product URL?

Currently the Actor supports search queries and category slugs, not individual product URLs. Use a search query that matches the product instead.
