Bitvavo Crypto Tickers Scraper

Scrape live crypto tickers from Bitvavo, the largest EUR spot exchange, with price, volume, and 24h change. Filter by quote currency and sort by volume or percent change. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

Bitvavo's public API rate-limits you and returns raw JSON that needs parsing. This actor reads the live ticker feed directly, filters pairs by EUR, USDC, or USDT, and returns each ticker as a flat row ready for analysis. No API key, no code.

Who uses it What they scrape Bitvavo for
Crypto traders Spot which EUR pairs are moving the most right now.
Market analysts Track 24h volume leaders across the Bitvavo order book.
Portfolio trackers Pull the latest EUR prices for a basket of coins.
Arbitrage bots Compare Bitvavo USDC prices against other exchanges.

What it does

This Actor collects live Bitvavo crypto tickers and returns each one as a flat row with last price, 24h volume, bid, ask, and percent change.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฑ Quote currency filter: limit results to EUR, USDC, or USDT pairs, or pull all markets.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Flexible sorting: order by 24h quote volume, percent change, last price, or market name.
  • ๐Ÿ”ข Volume cap: set a maximum number of tickers per run, from 1 up to 1,000,000.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

What you can do with Bitvavo data

๐Ÿ“ˆ Monitor EUR volume leaders.

A trader runs the actor sorted by 24h quote volume with a EUR filter to see which pairs are most active on Bitvavo right now.

๐Ÿ’น Catch intraday movers.

A market analyst pulls tickers sorted by 24h percent change to identify coins breaking out or dropping on the euro market.

๐Ÿ“‹ Feed a pricing sheet.

A portfolio manager collects all EUR tickers every five minutes and pushes the last prices into a Google Sheet for NAV calculations.

๐Ÿ” Compare stablecoin pairs.

An arbitrage developer fetches USDC and USDT tickers side by side to spot price dislocations against other venues.

Why choose this scraper

What you get
No API key Reads the public ticker endpoint with zero authentication.
Flat output Every ticker is one row with the same columns, ready for sheets or SQL.
EUR-native Built for the exchange that dominates euro spot volume.
Sort on fetch Get the top movers or highest volume pairs without post-processing.

How it compares

No other Store actor targets Bitvavo the same way, so the honest comparison is with the alternatives teams actually weigh.

Configure the run

Drive the Actor with a quote currency filter, a sort order, and a maximum ticker count, and only the matching rows land in your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.

A first run with the defaults:

{
 "maxItems": 10,
 "sortBy": "volume"
}

A larger pull:

{
 "maxItems": 200,
 "sortBy": "volume"
}

Pricing

Pay-per-result: $0.033 per result collected. You pay only for the results written to your dataset.

Use with AI agents (MCP)

Give an AI agent live access to Bitvavo through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:

claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/bitvavo-tickers-scraper"

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

Troubleshooting

Why am I getting fewer tickers than I set in maxItems?

The actor returns only the tickers that match your quote currency filter. If you filter by USDC and Bitvavo has only 50 USDC pairs, you will get at most 50 rows even if maxItems is higher.

The output is empty.

Check your quote currency filter. If you selected a currency with no active pairs, or if Bitvavo's endpoint is temporarily unreachable, the run may return zero rows. Try running without a filter to confirm.

The 24h volume looks wrong.

Bitvavo reports 24h rolling volume in the quote currency. A EUR pair's volume is denominated in euros, not the base asset. Make sure you are comparing like units.

Can I get historical tickers?

This actor returns only the current live ticker snapshot. For historical data, you would need to run it on a schedule and accumulate the results over time.

FAQ

Question Answer
Do I need a Bitvavo account or API key? No. The actor reads the public ticker endpoint, so no registration or authentication is required.
How fresh is the data? The actor pulls live tickers on each run. The data reflects the last traded price and 24h rolling volume at the moment of the request.
Can I get only euro pairs? Yes. Set the quote currency filter to EUR and the actor returns only pairs traded against the euro.
What is the maximum number of tickers I can collect? You can set the maximum up to 1,000,000 per run. Bitvavo lists hundreds of pairs, so the practical limit is the number of active markets.
Which fields does each row contain? Each row includes the market symbol, last price, 24h volume, 24h high and low, bid, ask, and 24h percent change.
Can I sort by the biggest gainers? Yes. Choose the '24h percent change (desc)' sort option to get the pairs with the largest positive move first.
Does this actor handle delisted or inactive pairs? It returns whatever tickers Bitvavo publishes at that moment. Inactive or delisted markets do not appear in the feed.
Can I run this on a schedule? Yes. Use Apify's scheduler to run the actor every minute, hour, or day and push the results to a dataset or external service.
